Birr Primary Care Centre

We are delighted to announce commencement of Birr Primary Care Centre and Ambulance Station. This new facility will provide a broad range of HSE services to a large catchment area. Located at at the rear of the Outdoor Education Centre on the Roscrea Road in Birr on a site known locally as “The Brothers Field”. The Primary Care Centre is to be built on 3.5 acres site.

Comprising of a three-story development of 50,000 sq.ft healthcare accommodation for the HSE, a pharmacy, 807 square metres of GP surgery space and an ambulance hub. Features ICF Therm Block with 200mm core. The ambulance hub will be net zero carbon design.

Birr Primary Care Centre is expected to be operational from Q1 in 2026.
