Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity Fundraiser

Carroll O Keeffe and Co Ltd embarked in a fundraiser in September 2022, to support the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity Club and raise funds and awareness for mental health in the construction industry.

The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity Club is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial well-being support to construction workers and their families.

We have raised awareness among our workers and our suppliers of the services available to them and will continue to raise awareness around mental health in the construction industry.

Director Diarmaid Carroll said, “ We embarked in a fundraiser in September to support the Lighthouse Club and raise funds and awareness for mental health in the construction industry. The BBQ was a great day and the feedback received by all in attendance was very positive. “We raised a total of €2446.80 for this great cause from the generous donations of our valued employees, sub-contractors and suppliers. Carroll O’Keeffe also pledged €1000 to become a Company Supporter of the Lighthouse Club, bringing the final sum to €3446.80.”

William Moloughney, Health & Safety Manager donated the cheque to Ambassador Natalie Ryan from the Lighthouse Clubnand added, “The Lighthouse Club is the only charity that provides emotional, physical, and financial well-being support to construction workers and their families so this is why as a company we wanted to support them. We have raised awareness among our workers and our suppliers of the services available to them and will continue to raise awareness around mental health in the construction industry.”
